Today, my mom became famous for the first time since March 1st, 1980.  She made the front page of the St. Louis Post Dispatch. 

The caption of the photo reads:

Here, at the Purple Cow at 11543 Gravois Peggy McDonnell shops for clothes for her children. "I come here every day." she says, adding, "I have adopted and foster children, this is my favorite store."
