So I have a lot more pictures of her than the boys only because the coach’s wife was amazing and took pictures of ALL the kids and posted them on shutterfly for downloading… so the first many, many pictures she took, and I am so glad!
The second picture here was on one of the very few cold days we’ve had this fall.
She really likes to play goalie.
Celebrating a goal for her team…
And rubbing it in real good. (Clearly this chap was more mature to put up with her smack talk.)
Coach Jim (above and below on the right) was the nicest guy. She developed quite a crush on him and always came home from practice saying what a nice, nice man coach Jim was and “I looove coach Jim, he’s so nice to me” blushing.
And Coach Jim was a really sweet man so I hope she continues to be so smart in picking her men.
So this was the only game that I took pictures at and it was a night game.
And admittedly, I got a little more fixated on the sunset than the game that night.
As sunsets have a way of doing, it just kept getting more and more brilliant as time passed.
Would you believe I did nothing to these pictures, I just uploaded them and this is how brilliant it was! I couldn’t believe more people weren’t gaping at it. They must really love their kids or something.
The kids love to be part of the tunnel for their siblings at the end of the games. Gotta love Jack’s tunnel below.
This was at Madalyn’s end of the year party… I wasn’t even there, Shaun was, but again… coach’s wife took these and I’m so glad. They had breakfast after their last game at Bubbalou’s… chocolate chip pancakes to be exact. They had a great time- she had the nicest people on her team.
I went to Jack’s party where they had happy meals at picnic tables and cupcakes and cookies and Sam whined “I NEED, I NEED!” pointing at the cupcakes the entire time. The highlight of Jack’s party was that he got his own trophy for the first time… and I’ll post his game pictures later. Evan’s party was a swim party at a teammate’s house and he, too, had a great time- great families. And so another soccer season ends and we’re so thankful for the great experiences it brought. But glad to have a break.
Besides which, we have a few things to discuss before next season (and if you read my last post you will see the consistency in this picture you will know exactly what things I mean.)
