Regressing Back to Parenting 101

IF you let your child sit in the grocery cart while you browse the card aisle and entertain himself with, oh, say, a bottle of strawberry shampoo, and IF you start to notice that some of the Valentine's are strawberry-scented, THEY ARE NOT.  Do not think, 'oh isn't that nice,' while you continue to read this one and that.  Be forewarned that if this smell does not immediately check you back into reality, you will completely miss that your child is decorating the grocery cart like a birthday cake.  The up-side is that both the baby and the carseat (both usually sticky and smelly) although still sticky, will now smell good.

Here's another tip.  IF you are too lazy busy to make grilled cheese, (and I realize this is like the epitomy of lazy busy,) then here is my personal recipe and it is GOOD:  Toast two slices of bread in the toaster, one with a slice of American cheese on it, then smoosh the two together, slather with butter, and cut diagonally.  Tastes just the same.  (Almost.)

Happy Tuesday.
