Evan making one of his famous pound cakes. He'll say, "now the cream cheese...now the butter...no that's not flour, that's salt...no not like that, Poppy," and then demonstrate how to sprinkle it with your fingers as opposed to dumping it in. He even "breaks eggs" and adds them. When I ask him if I can have a bite he sometimes says, "no, it's still hot, mommy."
